Dancing in the Rain: Electric Forest 2024 Recap

Electric Forest 2024 was an absolute dream! From the moment we stepped onto the lush grounds, it was clear this year would be one for the books. Despite the monumental downpours two nights in a row, the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits. Instead, it added a magical touch to an already vibrant and electrifying experience. Picture this: art installations shimmering with raindrops, music echoing through the forest, and the ever-present vibe of love and unity… that is, until the screen notified us, “ATTENTION FESTIVAL, PLEASE LEAVE THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.”

What is one to do when the mud is up past your ankles? Wear your bSteps, of course! I’ve been through some mud in these before, but never anything like this. Shockingly, when I arrived home, my socks and feet were completely dry. Mischief managed. Our boots proved to be the unsung heroes of the weekend, keeping us dancing comfortably and stylishly through every puddle and patch of mud.

The music lineup was a feast for the ears, with sets that had us dancing from dusk till dawn. Whether it was the pulsating beats at the Carousel stage or the soulful tunes at the Ranch Arena, every moment was pure bliss. And let’s not forget the spontaneous jam sessions and hidden gems that made wandering the forest a delightful adventure. Each art installation was a testament to creativity, transforming the forest into a living, breathing masterpiece.

Electric Forest 2024 reminded us of the beauty of coming together, dancing through the rain, and embracing the unexpected. It’s a reminder that, rain or shine, the spirit of the forest lives on in each of us. Until next year, keep those vibes high and your bSteps boots ready for the next adventure.
